Dean is a lifelong music lover who has a huge music collection spanning many music genres and time periods from the big band era to today’s hits. He enjoys collecting music CD’s (owns several thousand) because they offer superior sound quality when ripped digitally in a lossless format over conventional MPEG files or streaming service downloads.
Dean spends several hours every day listening to music and uses multiple music subscriptions to constantly search for new music. Dean was one of the first customers when Sirius satellite radio (later to become SiriusXM) launched in 2002. It was a natural progression for him to translate his love and knowledge of music into developing DJ skills and later a DJ business.
When Dean is not working with music, he enjoys working out, walking his dogs, reading and spending time with his wife, Maria.
